This year, we’re honored to serve as a Survivor Sponsor for the 2025 ‘Get Your Rear in Gear’ 5K event on Saturday, March 22, 2025, continuing our commitment to raising awareness and funds in the fight against colon cancer.
This sponsorship held special meaning for our firm as we honored a cherished member of the Tomeny Best family who courageously faced colon cancer. In their spirit, we rallied as a team to raise $3,000 in support of this life-changing cause and were recognized as the largest corporate team, raising the most of any Baton Rouge team.
The ‘Get Your Rear in Gear’ event isn’t just about raising awareness; it’s a collective effort to make a tangible impact on the lives of those affected by colon cancer. Funds raised at the event will directly benefit our local community, breaking down barriers to screening for underinsured individuals, educating about early detection, easing financial burdens for patients, and supporting ongoing research to end colon cancer.
