At Tomeny Best, giving back to Louisiana communities isn’t just something we talk about; it’s something we put into practice. That’s why we were proud to be a Platinum Sponsor of the 2025 Swollfest Fishing Rodeo, a truly unique event that combined the enjoyment of the outdoors with a deep commitment to service. Swollfest, a volunteer-run nonprofit, had raised hundreds of thousands of dollars to support local causes. These included Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital, the Swollfest Outdoor Wish program, and other incredible organizations that uplifted children, veterans, and families in need.
Swollfest had become a movement, funding life-changing outdoor experiences, scholarships, and support for those facing hardship. One of the event’s most impactful aspects was the Outdoor Wish Foundation, an organization that sponsored dream adventures for differently-abled children and armed services veterans. From providing all-terrain wheelchairs to organizing once-in-a-lifetime trips, Swollfest delivered meaningful change in ways that truly mattered.
