Congratulations to our 2026 Empowering Voices Scholarship Winner, Zoey Young! Find out more about our previous winners here!

Life rarely goes entirely according to plan, and a sudden, unexpected crisis can instantly redefine your path forward. Whether you’re navigating a severe personal injury or helping a loved one overcome a major life obstacle, rebuilding requires courage, adaptability, and unwavering determination. At Tomeny Best Injury Lawyers, our daily work centers on helping Louisiana families navigate these moments of profound change and chart a clear course toward recovery.

The Resilience and Rebuilding Scholarship was created to recognize students who have confronted life-changing adversity head-on. We know that overcoming significant hardship often imparts valuable lessons about human endurance, empathy, and purpose. We want to hear how a pivotal moment tested your strength, how you adapted to your new reality, and how that journey informed the goals you are pursuing today.

By investing in students who have turned personal trials into meaningful growth, we hope to ease the financial burden of higher education and empower the next generation of resilient leaders. If you or someone close to you has faced and overcome a life-altering event, we encourage you to share your experience with us and apply.
