At Tomeny Best, we understand the challenges faced by colon cancer survivors and patients. That is why we proudly sponsored the ‘Get Your Rear in Gear’ 5K event on Saturday, March 9, 2024, dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the battle against colon cancer.
We were honored to be a survivor/patient sponsor in recognition of one of our Tomeny Best family members who bravely battled colon cancer. To show our commitment to them and to our community, our company took the lead with remarkable results. We were the leading company team, raising an impressive $2,470, and organized a team of 17 participants, each running in honor of this important cause.
This event was not just about raising awareness; it was about making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by colon cancer. Money raised at the event stayed local, helping to remove barriers to screening for under and uninsured individuals, educate the public about early detection and screening, alleviate financial burdens for patients, and fund research to combat and ultimately end colon cancer.
