Join us as we celebrate the season of giving and continue to make a positive difference together.

OLOLCH Donation

We are honored to support Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Health Wish List through our toy donation and volunteering efforts. This meaningful initiative allowed us to bring joy to young patients and their families, brightening their days during this holiday season. Partnering with this incredible organization allowed us to give back to our community and make a positive impact.

Men Wear Pink of Baton Rouge

We proudly joined the Men Wear Pink of Baton Rouge campaign alongside community leaders to support the fight against breast cancer. The American Cancer Society’s initiative empowers ambassadors to raise awareness and funds, making a real difference in early detection, research, and patient care. Wearing pink has never been so powerful!

Pilots for Patients

Attorney Frank Tomeny is deeply inspired by the mission of Pilots for Patients and proudly supports their life-changing work. On his own time and schedule, Frank provides free air transportation for patients needing medical care unavailable in their local areas. This vital service alleviates the burden of travel, allowing patients to focus entirely on their health. Supporting such an impactful mission is an honor, and we look forward to continuing our partnership with this incredible organization.

Holiday Star Toy Drive

This year, we continued our annual tradition of participating in the Baton Rouge Bar Association’s Holiday Star program. We sponsored five children, carefully selecting, purchasing, and wrapping gifts to make their holidays special. Our team also volunteered by helping load the truck and delivering toys to local organizations, spreading joy and ensuring a brighter holiday season for those in need.

Holiday Bingo

Tomeny Best had the privilege of bringing some holiday cheer to the children at Our Lady of the Lake Children’s Hospital through a festive game of Holiday Bingo. Our attorneys enjoyed connecting with the kids, sharing laughter, and creating happy memories. At Tomeny Best, we’re committed to making a positive impact—whether by seeking justice for our clients or spreading joy in our community.

Play like Caleb

This October, Tomeny Best is honored to support the Play Like Caleb Memorial Benefit Tournament, held in memory of Caleb Easterling, a young baseball enthusiast who tragically passed away last summer. The tournament, featuring U7-U12 teams, celebrates Caleb’s love for the game and brings the community together in his honor.

St. George Fair

At Tomeny Best, we’re proud to support our local community, especially when it comes to bringing people together for a great cause! This October, we’re excited to sponsor St. George’s Annual Fair—a volunteer-driven event that strengthens the parish and celebrates community spirit. With exciting entertainment and activities for everyone, it’s a night full of fun for all ages. Parishioners can get involved by signing up for events, and tickets are available for pre-purchase HERE so you can be ready to join in the festivities. Don’t miss this special night—it’s going to be a blast!

Belly Up With the Bar

Tomeny Best Injury Lawyers was proud to take part in the 26th annual Belly Up With the Bar fundraiser, hosted by the Baton Rouge Bar Association. The event, which took place on Friday, Oct. 4, at LSU’s campus, brought together colleagues and friends for a fun evening of food, brews, and live music, all in support of the BRBF’s Youth Education Program. Known for its lively cook-off and brewfest, the fundraiser has always been a favorite for our team, and this year was no exception. It was a great opportunity to reconnect and support a meaningful cause.

Walk for Stephanie Phares

Our team was proud to stand with the local community in support of Stephanie Phares, the beloved owner of Zeeland Street Market. After serving Baton Rouge for over 30 years, Stephanie was recently diagnosed with stage 3A lung cancer. To help her through this challenging time, our neighbors at Varsity Sports Baton Rouge hosted a run/walk fundraiser on August 29 to assist with her treatment and business expenses. The event brought together participants for a 2 or 4-mile run, followed by live music and community fun at Zeeland Street. It was a heartwarming show of support for someone who has given so much to our community.

Empire Softball Team

At Tomeny Best Injury Lawyers, we are proud to support the Empire Softball Organization in their mission to develop young female athletes in Southwest Louisiana, both on and off the field. With the addition of two new 12u teams, Empire Softball is laying the groundwork for future success. These talented athletes recently showcased their determination in Texas, proving that Louisiana girls can compete with the best! We’re honored to cheer them on as they continue to work hard and make our community proud.

Nami Walks

Mental health advocacy is a cause close to our hearts here at Tomeny Best, which is why we’re proud to support NAMIWalks in memory of Michael Kinberger and their mission to improve mental health for all. By participating in NAMIWalks, we’re helping to raise awareness, provide essential funding, and show others that no one has to face mental health challenges alone. Together, we can create meaningful change. Learn more about this vital cause!

Get Your Rear in Gear

We understand the struggles that colon cancer patients go through, and that is why we proudly sponsored the ‘Get Your Rear in Gear’ 5K event dedicated to raising awareness and funds for the fight against colon cancer. We believe through collective action that we can all make significant strides in prevention, early detection, and treatment. Colon cancer may be tough, but together, we are even tougher.
